In this first paragraph, I should introduce myself. My name is Bud. My reason for building this website is to answer any questions my friends may have concerning building their own website or upgrading Ionthunder profiles. On this site I will show examples of embedding background music, linking to pictures, marquees and other DHTML or Java Scripts. This was a very simple web page. It was one of the basic page templates that Freeservers has to offer and it is FREE. Using HTML or DHTML you can enhance these pages (as I have done) to your hearts desire.

The Music Embedded In The Background is an MP3 file!

The difference between embedding a sound and a background sound is the code! It is necessary to embed the sound if you want to control the the sound with a mini player, such as the one you see on this page. The background sound source is a very simple html code. You must first upload your sound to your file manager on your website. Then it is a easy link to the sound. ie (<bgsound src="http://your url address/your sound.wav  or .midi  or .mp3">)
